Larry, affectionately known as “Larry from Perry,” has dedicated his life to serving our community as a skilled and compassionate flight paramedic. For years, he has been the one soaring in to save lives, always putting others first with a selflessness that defines him. Known for his ability to connect with everyone, Larry’s warmth, humor, and dedication make him a beloved figure, always ready to help, teach, or work alongside others in their time of need.

On June 13, 2025, Larry faced a personal health crisis when a trip to the emergency room for what was thought to be a kidney stone revealed a large mass on his right kidney. A follow-up MRI the next week showed the mass had grown rapidly, and by the end of June, a urology specialist confirmed the need for urgent surgery. On August 15, 2025, Larry underwent surgery to remove his right kidney. He is currently awaiting further scans to ensure all concerns have been addressed, all while navigating the challenge of being away from the helicopter and the work he loves. For someone who thrives on helping others, this recovery period has been tough, but Larry’s spirit remains as strong as ever.

This raffle is our community’s chance to give back to a true hero. Funds raised will support Larry and his devoted wife, Crystal, as they manage medical expenses and focus on his recovery. Let’s rally together to honor Larry from Perry, a one-of-a-kind public safety hero, and help him get back to doing what he does best—saving lives.

Anderson Manufacturing 300 AAC Blackout 16″

Backed by Anderson’s Limited Lifetime Warranty, this rifle is equipped with a 15” MLOK Handguard w/ a forward 1913 Picatinny Rail for full frontal customization, the forged 7075 T6 Upper is a flat-top receiver allowing for an array of optics and this rifle is outfitted with Magpul furniture to support shooter ergonomics. Plus this is chambered in .300 AAC Blackout. Having this in 300 Blackout gives you the reliability and punch of a 30 cal/ 308 in a smaller platform. Additionally, this cartridge paired with the right silencer can make a great host for a coyote gun or hunting rifle depending on what type of game you are hunting. It is also a great target rifle for the range as well.

Terms and Fine Print

Eligibility
Participants must be 21 years or older (or the minimum legal age for the firearm type in their state).
Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.
Must be legally able to own and possess a firearm under federal, state, and local laws.

Compliance with Laws
Winner must pass a federal background check conducted by a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer.
All firearm transfers will only be completed through a licensed FFL in the winner’s state of residence.
Participants acknowledge that some states or municipalities may prohibit certain firearm types, and they are responsible for understanding these restrictions.

Prize Substitution
If the winner is unable to legally take possession of the firearm, no cash refund will be issued and a new winner will be selected.

Ticket Purchase and Odds
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Each ticket has an equal chance of winning.
The number of tickets sold will be disclosed if available.

Winner Notification
Winner will be contacted via email and/or phone within a set timeframe (e.g., 48 hours) after the drawing.
The winner must respond and claim the prize within a specified period (e.g., 7 days), or another winner may be drawn.

Taxes and Fees
Winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, transfer fees, and any other costs associated with firearm ownership.

Liability Waiver
Participants agree to release and hold harmless the raffle organizer from any liability related to firearm use or possession.
The organizer assumes no responsibility for misuse of the prize after transfer.

Disqualification
The organizer reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for violating raffle rules or applicable laws.

Governing Law
The raffle will be governed by the laws of the state where it is conducted.

Gun pickup for the winner will be at Perry Pawn Shop there will be NO shipping option for the winner of the raffle.
